Sophie Golay

Sophie Golay is a 21 year old singer, actor, dancer. She is receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory this spring. She has had the privilege of being part of many productions at the Conservatory such as Parade (Mary Phagan), Fugitive Songs (Lead Vocalist), Fuddy Meers (Claire), and The Crucible (Mercy Lewis). During her senior year, Sophie has explored working behind the table and acted as Assistant Director for The Convent, which was a part of the New Directors Festival at the Conservatory. She has also taken a special interest in Voice-Over, specifically audiobooks.

Originally from Los Angeles, Sophie got her start at her local community theater- The Morgan-Wixson Theatre. Some of her favorite shows include You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), A Year With Frog And Toad (Toad), and Junie B. Jones: The Musical (Junie B. Jones). She was awarded The National Youth Arts Award for Best Actress in each of these roles. Additionally, she participated in theatre at Santa Monica High School; Side Show (Daisy), How To Succeed... (Rosemary), and Sound of Music (Louisa).
